Solid e-bike, quick delivery

Got the HR-G50 Fat Tire E-bike. It came fast, like 5 days to reach Denver. Assembly was easy enough. Bike rides great. Happy with the purchase.

Good bike, minor shipping issue

I ordered the Tank G60 Electric Bike last week. The bike itself is solid for the price, feels well-built, and the fat tires handle rough trails pretty well. Shipping was mostly fine, it arrived in the estimated window, but the box had a small tear when it arrived. Luckily, the bike wasn't damaged. Assembly was okay, not super hard but the instructions could use a bit more detail for first-timers. Overall, a good purchase but they could improve the packaging a little.

Consistent quality, fast shipping

I bought the HR-G50 Fat Tire E-bike last month, my third bike from Happyrun Sports. Like before, the shipping was quick, took about 6 days to get to my place in Oregon. The assembly was straightforward, and the bike rode just as well as my previous G60. It's nice knowing what to expect when ordering from here. The reliability keeps me coming back when I need new gear or an upgrade.

Do their bikes come mostly assembled, or am I gonna be spending all day putting it together?

B Brian T. 1 month ago
Mine came like 80-90% assembled. You've got to put on the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and maybe a few other small bits. It's not too bad, maybe an hour or so if you're not super handy.

Mostly assembled. It's not like IKEA furniture where you build it from scratch. You'll need to do some final assembly, but it's manageable with basic tools. The instructions were pretty clear, too.

hey, anyone know if they ship to Hawaii? or is it just the mainland US?

W William Robinson 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they do. I saw it mentioned in their FAQs, though I think there might be extra shipping fees. Worth checking their site directly.

They totally ship there! My buddy in Maui got a G60 last month, took a little longer than a mainland delivery but it arrived fine. He said the shipping cost was higher, but it wasn't crazy.

Are their bikes street legal? Like, can I ride the G50 around town without getting hassled?

S Susan Martin 1 week ago
It depends on your state and local laws. Many of these high-powered e-bikes fall into Class 3 or even moped categories. You might need a license plate in some areas for the faster ones, especially the 1500W models.

I'd check your specific city's e-bike regulations. Some places are stricter than others on motor size and throttle use. The G50 is pretty powerful, so it might be borderline depending on where you are.

Thinking about getting a G60, but if it doesn't work out, are returns a huge hassle?

R Robert Evans 2 weeks ago
I returned an accessory once, and it was pretty straightforward. For a whole bike, I think you've got a window, but you probably pay for return shipping and a restocking fee, so read the policy closely.

B Brittany Roberts 2 weeks ago
Returns for bikes can be pricey because of the shipping cost. I haven't done it myself, but my friend said if you're unsure, try to test ride something similar locally first. Check their return policy for the exact details on fees and timelines.

how long does shipping usually take for a bike? i'm in california and trying to plan a trip.

O Olivia F. 3 weeks ago
Mine took about a week to get to NorCal from when I ordered. It was during a regular season, not a big sale or anything.

I'd say give it 7-10 business days just to be safe. My G60 got to LA in 8 days, but sometimes things can vary with freight deliveries.

what payment options do they accept? is it just cards or like, paypal or something too?

S Sam Clark 1 month ago
They take all the usual cards, and I used PayPal for mine. I think they also have some kind of financing option now too, like Affirm or something.

L Laura Jackson 1 month ago
Yeah, major credit cards for sure. I used Visa. I remember seeing other options during checkout, like PayPal and I think even Apple Pay for mobile.

Anyone compared the G60 to a Super73? Wondering if it's worth saving some cash or if the Super73 is really that much better.

E Emily L. 3 days ago
I looked at both. The G60 is faster and has more power for the price, especially for off-road. Super73 has a more established 'cool factor' but you pay for it. Depends what you prioritize.

P Paul Young 2 days ago
For sheer performance and value, I think the Happyrun wins. Super73s are nice, but if you're actually riding hard, the G60's suspension and power feel better. Plus, it's way cheaper.

Thinking of grabbing a G50. Are these things actually legit, or are they kinda flimsy like some other e-bikes I've seen pop up?

J Jacob Moore 2 weeks ago
Nah, they're solid. I got the HR-G50 and it feels super sturdy, definitely not flimsy. Handles trails really well.

Z Zach Campbell 2 weeks ago
They seem legit. Haven't bought one myself yet, but I've watched a bunch of reviews on YouTube and people generally seem impressed with the build quality for the price.
